Terms and Conditions

1. The service

SecuremeVPN provides encrypted VPN connectivity over the WireGuard protocol between your devices and servers we operate in multiple locations. The service is provided by Dharam Digital Private Limited, trading as SecuremeVPN ("we", "us"), a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 710-711, Tower B, Emaar Digital Greens, Sector 61, Gurgaon, Haryana 122001, India. You can reach us at +91 124 4009257 or support@securemevpn.com with any question or complaint about the app or the service. Features, locations, and capacity may change over time as we improve the service.

2. Your account

• You need an account to use the service. Keep access to your account email secure: whoever controls that inbox controls the account.
• One account may be used on up to 5 devices at the same time. You can review and remove devices in the app or on the manage page.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use the service.
• Accounts are personal. Reselling access or sharing an account beyond your own devices is not permitted.

3. Acceptable use

SecuremeVPN exists to protect your privacy, not to enable harm. You agree not to use the service to:

• Break the law of the jurisdiction you are in, including unauthorized access to systems, fraud, or distribution of unlawful material.
• Send spam or operate abusive automated traffic.
• Attack, probe, or disrupt networks, including ours.
• Infringe intellectual property rights.
• Resell, rent, or commercially redistribute the service without our written agreement.

Because we do not monitor your traffic, we rely on abuse reports from third parties. Where an abuse report is credible and specific, we may investigate at the account level (never by inspecting traffic content) and take action under section 6.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans, trials, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are described in the Subscription Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Service availability

• We aim for the service to be available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, capacity limits, and events outside our control can cause interruptions.
• Individual server locations may be added, changed, or retired. If we retire a location we will keep a reasonable alternative available.
• We may impose fair-use limits to protect network quality for all users.

6. Suspension and termination

• You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these terms, after notice to your account email where reasonably possible.
• If we terminate your account without cause, you are entitled to the value of the unused portion of any prepaid period. Because all subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, we will support your refund request with the relevant store, and where the store declines we will make it good ourselves by another means, such as credit or a redeem code of equivalent value.

7. Intellectual property

The SecuremeVPN apps, website, name, and wolf mark are our property or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the apps to access the service. You may not reverse engineer the apps except where the law expressly permits it.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". A VPN protects the transport of your data; it does not make you anonymous in every circumstance, and it cannot protect data you choose to share with websites and apps. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. The competent courts at Gurgaon, Haryana, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live, or to rely on protections that cannot be varied by agreement.

12. App Store purchases and Apple

This section applies only when you obtain the SecuremeVPN app from the Apple App Store or Mac App Store. In respect of the matters addressed in this section, and only those matters, this section prevails over anything above that conflicts with it; section 11 continues to govern these terms and any dispute between you and us. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app as licensed through Apple, and these terms supplement it.

• This agreement is with us, not Apple. These terms are concluded between you and Dharam Digital Private Limited only. Apple is not a party to them, and we alone are responsible for the app and its content.
• Scope of licence. We grant you a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Family Sharing and volume purchasing apply where Apple makes them available.
• Support is ours. We provide all maintenance and support for the app, through support@securemevpn.com or the contact page. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
• Warranty. We are responsible for any warranty covering the app, express or implied, to the extent it is not effectively disclaimed in section 8. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
• Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim you or a third party makes about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
• Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
• Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app, including your wireless carrier's terms of service.
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance of them Apple will have the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
